Dr. Montessi was born and raised in Texas (Arlington and the Dallas- Ft. Worth area). Shortly after high school she joined the U.S. Coast Guard and honorably served our country for 10 years.While still on active duty, Dr. Montessi began undergraduate classes, eventually transitioning to full-time studies upon separation from military service.
Dr. Montessi worked as a veterinary technician for four years before attending veterinary school where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida. Her special interests include emergency and critical care, soft tissue surgery and feline medicine.
